What We Do
PHSH is an independent, not-for-profit advocacy initiative that supports regulatory oversight and contributes to improvements in housing standards through evidence-based reporting and engagement.
We focus on accountability at a system level.
Our Method
By translating lived experience into clear, lawful evidence, PHSH supports regulatory oversight and drives improvement in housing standards. Individual cases are analysed collectively to identify recurring patterns, enabling regulators to address root causes rather than isolated symptoms.
Local Focus
We begin here in Peterborough, because change starts close to home. Tenants deserve safe, dignified living conditions, and their experiences form the foundation of this project. What we build here is a blueprint for communities everywhere.
"I want to pay tribute to the hard work you do for residents across Peterborough and North West Cambridgeshire." - Sam Carling MP
Bigger Picture
Roads, power grids, and internet networks keep a nation running - but homes keep it alive. Every policy failure, every delayed repair, every ignored complaint chips away at human infrastructure. Project HSH connects these fractures across the country to reveal one truth: housing reform isn’t charity, it’s national maintenance.
